What is the deadline to sign up?

Deadlines are dependent on the tour dates of your trip and will be noted in the trip details.

what is the activity level on the trips?

Moderate. Day trips to surrounding areas include walking on uneven cobblestone streets through medieval villages and may not be handicap accessible. We are also able to customize your trip based on the activity level of your private group (if you’d like to add hiking, etc.).

am i able to meet my travel companions prior to the trip?

For pre-planned tours, a private Facebook group will be made available to you to introduce you to your fellow travelers and share photos post-trip.

what currency is used in italy?

The Euro is the official currency in Italy. It is always best to have Euros on you when souvenir shopping. However, most places in Italy accept credit cards. They do not acknowledge traveler’s cheques. Also, be sure to contact your credit card company before traveling overseas.

is a visa required to travel to italy?

No. You are allowed to travel to Italy for up to 90 days for tourist purposes as long as your U.S. Passport is valid for at least 3 months after your planned return to the United States.

how far in advance should we request a trip for a private group?

We suggest booking one year in advance. The main reason for this is to provide us ample time to secure a private villa for your group. This also allows plenty of time for travelers to find the best deals on airfare.
